This Tier List is made out of the 120,000 games we have collected for this meta period from players using the Untapped.gg Companion. Worst tier list I've ever seen. At what ranks has this info been collected. Because these winrates don't match with the info konami gives us for master rank.

Tier 1 is always the best decks in the game, and tier 2 are always the common ladder decks. Tier 2 is whatever because in md with bo1, any deck can play at a tier 3 level. MDM tier list also has rules for the rankings order than just tops btw, smaller events give less, and so does the same player topping.

Nibiru is an overall good handtrap, a good spot to nibiru them is when they have two XYZ of the same name on field and overlay for utopic, if they make draco future you lose your window. Gamma the normal or fraktall. Lancea is decent, they usually have enough birds in hand to combo through and atleast on draco future.

For some meta decks, a simple combo interrupt is all it takes, and their entire deck is bricked if they don't have a counter. Heck, making em misplay with bait plays is also enough. Some cards are outright broken and braindead, sure, but yugioh is also about using your head. To some degree. It is a children's card game.

Hey people, I have been playing Master Duel for a while now. I have collected a good few gems at this point, but I'm not sure what I would like to do with it yet, which is why I wanna try asking some people who know are a bit more fimiliar with the general Meta of the OCG/TCG. The TL;DR here is: Looking for a fun strategy to spend my gems on ...

This"messing with your opponent's deck" meta is obnoxious and toxic for the game. I don't mind losing to a consistent deck with a strong board. Even full negate boards are less toxic than decks that banish/destroy cards from your opponent's hand/extra deck/deck. I don't mind losing to snake eyes even. Snake eyes is just ultra consistent.

Master Duel is more similar to the old OCG meta due to allowing Maxx"C" at three. There are still many differences due to the BO1 format: examples include blind second decks and anti-meta decks having disproportional advantage in Master Duel. Yeah it has differences but it is still similar enough.

I admit I don't know enough about yugioh to really argue any of that, it just seems these decks get their end board on turn one like 75% of the time, probably due to combo starters like you said. It's just the average player picks a deck, wins a few up to goldish and then they just hit a wall against these same decks over and over and over.

For cheap, powerful decks, you could go with a few options I can think of off the top of my head Ninjas, their structure deck just released and they do pretty well in the current meta of purrely and soon-to-be meta of Kashtira, however they are a complicated deck to learn, you also need to have a lot of general gamestate knowledge because while Ninjas can contest with some good decks, using ...
